What TipLobby is
TipLobby (tiplobby.com) is a platform that lets residents of multi-unit residential buildings send cashless tips to building staff. Account managers invite staff members; residents allocate tips per person; payments are split through Stripe Connect to each staff member directly.
Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create a TipLobby account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
Tips
Tips sent through TipLobby are direct gratuities from residents to building staff. They are not employment compensation and are not processed by the building. TipLobby acts as a technology platform that facilitates the payment via Stripe; it does not take custody of tip funds.
A platform fee is deducted from each tip received by staff; the exact amount is set out in the staff agreement. Residents pay a Stripe card processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) on top of their tip total at checkout.
SMS messaging
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in (see SMS Consent), you agree to receive SMS and MMS messages from TipLobby related to account authentication, onboarding, tipping activity, account notifications, customer support, and other service-related communications.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation SMS. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, simply opt in again as you did the first time.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service.

TipLobby may use third-party service providers, including telecommunications and messaging platforms, to deliver messages.
Acceptable use
- Do not use TipLobby to send unlawful, fraudulent, or harassing content.
- Do not attempt to access another user's account.
- Do not use TipLobby to launder funds or evade taxes.
- Do not interfere with the operation of the platform.
Disclaimers
TipLobby is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Stripe is responsible for payment processing under its own terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
